Popular Photography and America Photo partnered with Nikon to produce photographic journeys, called the Mentor Series Worldwide Treks, an annual series of 18 immersive trips that ran for 24 years, offering photography enthusiasts unparalleled access to professional instruction in destinations around the world. Led by Nikon professional photographers, each journey combined hands-on learning with real-world shooting environments, allowing participants to refine their craft alongside industry experts. Travelers were equipped with the latest gear from Nikon, Manfrotto and SanDisk, enabling them to explore new techniques, tools, and workflows in the field. The program reinforced Popular Photography & American Photo’s long-standing commitment to education, access, and excellence in photographic storytelling.
