Afar Media partnered with Discover Puerto Rico to launch United Voices, an editorial campaign spotlighting the island’s rich culture through the perspectives of local chefs, artists, and storytellers. The series redefined travel content by centering community voices, challenging stereotypes, and inviting travelers to see Puerto Rico through a more authentic lens. This campaign exemplifies the power of storytelling to drive deeper cultural connection and responsible tourism.
HOLIDAY POP UP / DISCOVER PUERTO RICO
Afar partnered with Discover Puerto Rico to bring the destination to life through a festive, consumer-facing holiday pop-up experience. Designed to immerse guests in the spirit of Puerto Rico, the activation invited guests to experience the island through multiple touch points including, a curated coquito-inspired hot chocolate, music, seasonal décor, and visual imagery that reflected the destination’s warmth and culture. The pop-up drew significant foot traffic, with a long line of attendees engaging throughout the day. Guests also had the opportunity to enter to win a trip to Puerto Rico, alongside destination-themed giveaways including branded YETI cups. The experience created a memorable, sensory introduction to Puerto Rico while driving excitement, engagement, and aspiration around travel to the destination.

ASHEVILLE IN-MARKET WORKSHOP
To increase destination awareness and equip local stakeholders with tools to drive bookings, Afar partnered with Explore Asheville to produce an in-person workshop. Designed for travel professionals and small business owners, the workshop brought together participants for an engaging day of presentations and discussions led by Afar’s content and marketing experts. The program focused on empathy-led storytelling, actionable marketing strategies, and platform-specific best practices.
LIVE AQUA RESORT LAUNCH
For one special night, New York City’s Spring Place was transformed into an enchanting showcase of Live Aqua Resorts. Guests were immersed in the spirit of the brand, with sensory elements that reflected the resort’s refined style and modern Mexican luxury.
Lavender served as the evening’s signature thread—infused into handcrafted cocktails, woven through floral arrangements, and gently perfuming the air. A tequila tasting featuring San Miguel de Allende’s Casa Dragones added regional flavor, while a custom perfume pop-up invited guests to create their own lavender-inspired scent—offering a lasting, personal memory of the experience.
CHRISTIAN CULTURAL GOLF OUTING
The CCC hosted its 14th Annual Golf Classic at Pine Hollow Golf Course, where guests enjoyed a day filled with camaraderie, purpose, and community spirit. This year’s event honored CCC’s 2021 Circle of Champions, five individuals recognized for their outstanding commitment to humanitarian work, social engagement, and community leadership.
PRIVATE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE
Saks Fifth Avenue and Women Builders Council partnered to host a private shopping experience exclusively for the 2021 honorees, in celebration of the upcoming Champion Awards. The event offered a stylish and meaningful opportunity for honorees to connect with fellow trailblazing women, explore the Saks collections, and enjoy a celebratory champagne toast.
WOMEN BUILDERS GOLF OUTING
Women Builders Council’s 7th Annual Golf Outing was held at Wheatley Hills Golf Course. This event brings together NY’s professionals for a day of connection and on-course activity.
